Most pool advice online is written for places with a swim season. Miami doesn't have one. The water is warm enough to grow algae in February, the sun burns off chlorine twelve months a year, and from May through October an afternoon storm can dump an inch of rain into the pool three days in a row. Every one of those things pushes chemistry off target.
That's why weekly service is the honest recommendation for most pools here. A weekly visit catches a chlorine dip before it becomes a green wall, keeps pH where the sanitizer actually works, and empties the baskets before a clogged pump starts cavitating. Skip two weeks in July and you're not maintaining anymore, you're recovering.
Monthly plans do work for a specific kind of pool: covered, lightly used, or fitted with a salt system and automation that hold the water steady between visits. If that's your setup, we'll say so. We'd rather put you on the right plan than the bigger one.
Whichever schedule you choose, the important part is consistency. A pool that's tested and dosed on the same day every week costs less to run, uses fewer chemicals over the year, and never needs the expensive rescue visit.
